“The New Face of Grief and its Impact on End-of-Life Care.”
Rev. Dr. Jacobs is the author of A Clergy Guide to End of Life Issues (Pilgrim, 2010). She is currently Senior Minister, First Congregational Church, Chappaqua, N.Y. She previously served as a hospital chaplain and was the founding managing editor of PlainViews, a monthly, e-newsletter for chaplains and other spiritual care providers. Rev. Dr. Jacobs is an adjunct professor of pastoral care at New York Theological Seminary and was the 2010 recipient of the Anton Boisen Award for Professional Service from the Association of Professional Chaplains.

About the Wentworth-Douglass Hospital Spiritual Care Conference:
The 13th Annual Wentworth-Douglass Hospital Spiritual Care Conference is being held virtually, and will examine the spiritual and religious impact of the Covid-19 pandemic and our interdependence in facing the future.

This annual event kicked-off with a virtual keynote address on October 19 with Christina Puchalski, MD titled “The Critical Role of Spiritual Care in Healing our Individual and Collective Distress.”
