CPMC Webinar: Understanding the Challenges of Detention Ministry

Of the populations affected by incarceration none may be as hidden as those impacted by detention. Detention Ministry poses unique challenges that can be difficult to navigate for the minister, the families, and the detention center staff. In this session Fr. Richard Sotelo SJ, the chaplain for the Department of Homeland Security’s El Paso Processing Center, and Archbishop Thomas Wenski of the Archdiocese of Miami, lead a discussion around the challenges and the opportunities of ministering to those affected by Detention.
