Workshop Facilitated by Frederic Craigie, PhD
“Spirituality, Resilience, and Well-Being in Healthcare in the Post-Pandemic Era.”
Dr. Craigie is a clinical psychologist, medical educator, and writer. He practiced at a family medicine residency in Maine for 37 years. He now serves as a faculty member at the Andrew Weil Center for Integrative Medicine at the University of Arizona College of Medicine, teaching spiritual and psychological resilience and well-being. He is the author of Positive Spirituality in Health Care: Nine Practical Approaches to Pursuing Wholeness for Clinicians, Patients, and Health Care Organizations (Mill City Press, 2010), a textbook about spirituality in health care; and the recently-released Weekly Soul: Fifty-two Meditations on Meaningful, Joyful, and Peaceful Living (MSI Press, 2020).
About the Wentworth-Douglass Hospital Spiritual Care Conference:
The 13th Annual Wentworth-Douglass Hospital Spiritual Care Conference is being held virtually, and will examine the spiritual and religious impact of the Covid-19 pandemic and our interdependence in facing the future.
This annual event kicked-off with a virtual keynote address on October 19 with Christina Puchalski, MD titled “The Critical Role of Spiritual Care in Healing our Individual and Collective Distress.”
