Pastoral Care Week
Pastoral Care Week gives opportunities for organizations and institutions of all types to recognize the spiritual caregivers in their midst and the ministry that the caregivers provide.
This year, Pastoral Care Week will be celebrated October 20-26, 2024.
This year’s theme is Chaplains Beyond Religious Roles. When thinking of chaplains, many people picture a person praying, leading worship services, and performing religious ceremonies. However, chaplains are trained in so much more than just religious care, including advocacy, diversity support, ethics consulting, crisis intervention, mediation, and much more!
