World Day of the Sick Prayers

On this World Day of the sick, we pray for those who are experiencing sickness; physical, mental, or emotional. We pray for those who are experiencing sickness of hate, discrimination, inequality, loneliness, homelessness, violence, and war. We pray for those who are recovering and those amid addiction, who are sick of feeling sick and tired of feeling tired. We pray that they not only know but feel and experience the hope and love of our God.  The reality and truth that we live in a world where light is greater than darkness, hope superior to despair and where love wipes out hate, where sin and destruction abound, Grace and Truth abound even more. Amen
